Last week, Iran hosted the Second China Trade Week (CTW) from 19th to 22nd Sep 2017. The event was held as an exclusive exhibition for Chinese businesses through which around 200 Chinese companies from a wide range of industries including Agriculture, Auto Parts, Building Construction, Chemicals, Energy Sector, food & beverage, textile, IT, Home electrical devices, etc. were gathered in Shahr-e-Aftab exhibition to showcase their products to the Iranian business community.

The main purpose of the event, which has started from 2016 and is to be annually held in Tehran, is to maintain China’s position in the Iranian market as a well-known business partner and to promote more and more Chinese goods and products in Iran. This exhibition is indeed a great platform for Chinese manufacturers to create business relations with Iranian companies and it also provides a great opportunity for Chinese businessmen to touch the market of Iran from close and know more about the business environment, rules and regulations as well as investment in this country.

Like last year, IRANPARTNER as one of the sponsors, cooperated with China Chamber of International Commerce, Trade Promotion Organization of Iran, Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture, MIE Group, Nojan Rad Co. Ltd., etc. to hold this event in Iran, by advertising and inviting around 2000 Iranian companies to visit this year’s exhibition. Comparing to last year, there was a considerable growth in the number of Chinese participants, as well as the range of industries from which the companies participated in this year’s event. Also, more Iranian visitors attended this year’s exhibition and showed a lot of interest in attending similar shows in the future. Since China Trade Week is the only comprehensive China-focused trade event, it is considered as a distinctive opportunity for the Iranian businesses, who look for business relations with China, to take advantage of side seminars and B2B meetings with their related Chinese companies.

China Trade Week also provides an incredible opportunity for Iranian entrepreneurs, professional business people, and experts to find new business partners, potential buyers, suppliers or in general business connections, in a great country like China. It is also a unique chance for those Iranian businessmen who have never had any experience of working with China before and have no clear idea about how and where to start. This would be a great chance for them to discover the most suitable way to start a fruitful business with qualified Chinese companies, which are ready to offer the very best of their products and services with regards to competitive quality and price, as a result of being in Iran’s post-nuclear deal era, lifting of economic sanctions and interest of other countries for entering the profitable market of Iran.
